Adriana Picker is an Australian illustrator, artist and designer. Her work encompasses the diverse fields of publishing, fine arts, film and advertising; at the heart of her work is a lifelong passion for flowers, which she manages to find wherever she goes.

Adriana is the author of Petal and the illustrator of The Cocktail Garden, Where the Wildflowers Grow and The Garden of Earthly Delights.


ABOUT THE ARTIST

Adriana Picker is currently Sydney based, Australian born Illustrator and Author, with a lifelong passion for for botanical illustration, and for the real thing - flowers and plants.

Adriana was born in Australia where her love and connection to the natural world began and has lived in the mountains, by the coast, in the countryside, and in the city, but always manages to find flowers anywhere she goes.

 



Through her colourful and nostalgic illustrations, Mel also focuses on educating her audience on conservation, and sustainable and regenerative practices. Her artwork has appeared in various publications, including on the cover of Peppermint magazine, as well as on postcards, prints, tea towels, clothing and even beer cans!
