EARTH BY HAND- Large Swirl Glazed Cups with Thumb Indents- #3

The perfect sized Mug if you ask us, in the most beautiful creamy off-white clay with the with a darker & rougher contrasting clay swirled through. These vessels have dimples for your thumbs, which makes them perfect for cold drinks, no slipping from condensation, but of course you can use them for hot or cold drinks!

This piece is fully functional, each item is unique, as is the nature of handmade products!

Dimensions: Approximately 10.5cm tall x 8.3cm across the rim.

 *** While these pieces can go in the dishwasher, they are handmade items and we would recommend handwashing to help them last longer!

ABOUT HAND BY EARTH

Hand formed & wheel thrown ceramics made here in Northern Beaches of Cairns by ceramicist Dianne Lennon. Dianne Studied Ceramics in the 90's, and then family life happened, and the pottery wheel was put aside.  In 2021 Dianne decided it was time to dust off the wheel and get herself muddy again, and has rediscovered her love of ceramics and the creative process. She works out of her home studio and is in partnership in a lovely shop in Kuranda with another local potter.  Dianne is also involved with the local Potters Club and studied again at the Cairns TAFE campus, where she made many friends in the local pottery community!
