ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Amit Shimoni is an Israeli artist based in Tel Aviv. He is perhaps best known for his Hipstory project, a series of portraits depicting familiar faces in the world of art, politics and pop culture, as modern day hipsters. Today, Shimoni is the operator of his design studio, and has run projects with top brands around the world including the New York Times, the New York Observer. Hipstory Art is based in Sydney and run by friends of the artists, and they produce a fun, & funky range of homeware & stationery products to sell in Australia, including posters, coasters, pins & coasters.
