ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kylie Burke is a well-known face in Cairns’ artistic circles.
She has taught in the arts, is workshop facilitator, and also a curator who has worked in most of Cairns major galleries and also indy art galleries and co-ops. Kylie is a constant contributor of her own artistic works to exhibitions around the city.
A collector of curiosities, Kylie then combines her many found and salvaged materials to create quirky, sculptural characters, each a unique and affordable artwork.
