About Aussie Man Hands

In 2017, my son Jake got a nasty cut on his hand. Jake is a plumber, so his hands were frequently in contact with the obvious nasties.

The cut opened a manhole to Jake's body and the serious bacterial skin infection Cellulitis was rapidly travelling up his arm. The prognosis was bleak; possible limb amputation. 

Thankfully, after a hospital stay with an intravenous antibiotic drip, his arm was saved. Jake was told to take better care of his hands but took absolutely no notice. His partner Belinda bought every available hand repair cream on the market. He discarded them all. Too greasy and/or too heavy.

I found a Sydney pharmacist who would help formulate a hand repair cream and after several attempts, we had the perfect product. Natural ingredient, non-greasy and no-fuss. Originally only intended for Jake, it was an immediate hit with the tradie's on site and I knew there was a gap in the market that desperately needed filling. Aussie Man Hands was born.
