Samone Amba worked for many years in children's publishing as a commissioning editor and is currently a pre-service teacher, studying a Master of Teaching in Early Learning and Primary. She freelances widely, but her past employers have included Five Mile, Hardie Grant Egmont, Dorling Kindersley (UK), and Bayside Libraries, where she recently worked for a year telling story time and toddler time!
