ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hello! I’m Gabi 👋 Designer, former “shop lady” and lifelong stationery enthusiast.
For the past 9.5 years, I co-ran Honest Paper, a local stationery shop in Newcastle, Australia. It was there that I learned that a hand written message inside the right card can make someone laugh, make someone cry (the good kind), and quite brilliantly, quite simply… make someone’s day.
Where am I now? I’m living out a little ‘working holiday meets creative reset’ in London (but don’t worry, everything’s still shipping as usual from Daymaker HQ in Australia).
These days, Daymaker is my full-time focus and one of my favourite creative spaces. It’s where I get to play with colour, illustration and the joy of correspondence through paper goods.
I design everything here (sometimes I get to collaborate with my artist friends too), drawing ideas from the people around me, the places I go, and the little details I notice along the way.
