Driven by community demand, strong sell-through from Part 1, and, we'll admit, no small amount of enthusiasm from our own team, it builds on the wearable art world created with the first collection, going deeper into the fairy tale canon to introduce a beautiful bevy of new characters from beloved fairy tales and fables. If there was ever a collection sure to be loved by the Erstwilder community and people new to the brand alike, this is it!

You’ll find more characters from classic fairy tales, perfect pairings with designs from the first collection, the introduction of select Fables, and some generic symbols found across many stories.


Designed to be treasured, gifted and shared across generations, the range captures the enduring charm of a world where every climb leads somewhere unexpected
 

Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand there can be fingerprint marks and very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps are made from plated brass. Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel.

Designs come packaged in Erstwilder gift boxes.

CARE

Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water and excessive sunlight and you'll have a trusted friend for years to come.

Erstwilder is a proudly Melbourne-based label born in 2011. They design and produce collectible, limited run layered resin adornments, all fashioned to keep your outfits extraordinary!

These days they  work with a team of local designers whose own personalities and passions influence their collections in the most amazing ways.  Everyone at Erstwilder HQ shares a love of animals great and small and we draw a lot of inspiration from all things vintage, rockabilly, pinup, retro and art deco. 

Character design is only part of the process; each piece in the Erstwilder collection has its own narrative including a unique name and short story homaging history, myth, pop-culture and classic storytelling. Their focus on design flows through to the packaging which makes an Erstwilder character the perfect gift for anyone who loves to accessorise.
