About Ivy & Wood Candles
Ivy & Wood candles are hand poured using natural coconut soy wax and cotton wicks.
We use high quality fragrance oils in a wide variety of delicious scents.
The handy lid prevents dust collecting in the wax when not in use. Once your candle is finished you can simply wash out with hot soapy water and reuse the jar.
Candle Care & Safety
- Always trim your wick to 5mm before lighting your candle (yes - every time)
- Burn for long enough that the melted wax pool reaches all the way to the edge (1-2 hours)
- Do not burn for more than four hours at a time
- Keep candle free of foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings
- Never burn on or near anything that could catch fire
- Never burn while unattended
- Keep out of reach of children and pets

IVY & WOOD
Founded in 2016, Ivy & Wood is run by partners, Jess & Brad, who make all products by hand in their north Brisbane workshop. Jess started out making a small batch of candles in the kitchen and gifted them to friends and family. After receiving a great response, she hatched the idea of starting a business.
Off they went to the markets and from there the business grew, until Jess quit her corporate career in 2017 and they hustled hard until Brad joined Ivy & Wood full time in 2018. Brad is now head of production (AKA chief candlemaker) and Jess focuses on product development, sales, marketing and order fulfilment. As a small business, they both have many roles to play!
Part of their essential daily routine is to walk their two greyhounds morning and night without fail. No matter how busy you get, it is important to take a break, stretch the legs, get some fresh air and have a little family time.
Our Products
Embracing simplicity and nature, Ivy & Wood draws inspiration from nature, in particular, Australia's native flora.
We collaborate with Australian artists to bring our ranges to life and showcase their talented work.
All of our products are hand poured in Brisbane, Australia, using only the best ingredients:
- eco-friendly soy coconut wax
- pure cotton wicks
- high quality fragrance oils
- quality glass jars
Soy candles burn at least 50% longer and cleaner than paraffin candles, and burn evenly so there is little wax left on the side of the jar.
Our mason jars are reusable as well, so once you're finished simply wash out with hot soapy water and you have a new jar to store things in!
