A collection of postcards made by us to show our love of our hometown & our region, and to give you treasures to take home as mementos or to post to your loved ones! Coated on the image side to protect it, but uncoated on the back, they are easy to write on! They are a matching series so they can be displayed together.

We are nature & art lovers, so these are the main subjects of our photographs!

A6 standard postcard sized.

DESCRIPTION- This stunning male Southern Cassowary was photographed in the revegetated rainforests of Tarzali, near the Ithaca River. This private rainforest was created to aid the plight of the endangered Cassowary, and to extend a safe corridor for them to forage and raise their chicks. Their favourite foods were specifically planted to ensure they have plenty to eat!

The southern cassowary, also known as double-wattled cassowary, Australian cassowary, or two-wattled cassowary, is a large flightless black bird, found in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and north-eastern Australia. These massive birds get up to six feet tall and close to 50 kilos, so you'd think they'd be easy to spot, however, they're considered endangered in Australia, so seeing them in the wild in their natural habitat is an absolute treat, they are a sight to behold!
