DESCRIPTION- The Daintree Rainforest is a living time capsule, an ancient and untouched wilderness where towering trees, tangled vines, and lush ferns create a world teeming with life. This UNESCO-listed wonder, the oldest continually surviving rainforest on Earth, is home to rare wildlife like cassowaries, tree kangaroos, and dazzling butterflies.

Crystal-clear creeks wind through the dense greenery, their cool waters flowing over mossy rocks and sandy beds, offering tranquil pockets of beauty amidst the jungle. Whether it's the emerald depths of Cooper Creek or the refreshing pools of Emmagen Creek, these waterways breathe life into the forest, reflecting the untouched magic of the Daintree.

The Kuku Yalanji are the traditional people of the Daintree Rainforest and the Mossman Gorge region.
