This is a shadowbox frame, so the image is set towards the back of the frame, and the inside of the frame is a painted white to border the image.  Just a special little extra touch!

Australian artist, Sarah Strickland is predominately a textile designer, but her work with paper is quite stunning. The following pieces were originally created as painted paper collages before being digitized and printed on fabric. Sarah crafts her multilayered pieces using bold colours and textures. Sarah is an exhibiting artist but has also worked many other Australian companies and design houses, who use her work in their creations.   She has become well-known for quirky garden, interior and still-life artworks.
