DESCRIPTION- Tinaburra is a more tranquil section of lake Tinaroo on the Atherton Tablelands nearest to the village of Yungaburra. 

Lake Tinaroo was created by the damming of the Barron River, this vast lake is a haven for outdoor adventure and relaxation alike. Its calm waters mirror the sky, fringed by eucalypt woodlands and lush pastures, while hidden coves and quiet inlets invite exploration.

A favourite spot for fishing, boating, and camping, Lake Tinaroo is home to the legendary barramundi, as well as an array of birdlife. Whether it’s the misty mornings, golden sunsets, or the thrill of skimming across the water, this lake is a true Tablelands gem, offering both serenity and excitement in equal measure.
