Eye pillows work beautifully thanks to their gentle weight resting over the eyes. This light pressure can help ease headaches, migraines and tired, sore eyes — making them effective even at room temperature, without the need for heating or cooling.

They’re also a simple but powerful way to unwind. The soft weight encourages your eyes to fully relax, helping signal to your brain that it’s time to switch off from visual stimulation. This can quiet a busy mind, making it easier to drift into rest or sleep — much like the calming feeling you may have experienced during a yoga or meditation session.

For an extra soothing touch, the pillow can also be cooled (see care instructions below), offering a refreshing option for relieving puffiness, eye strain or headaches.

How to Use

For everyday relaxation, simply lie back and place your eye pillow gently over your eyes at room temperature. The soft weight helps soothe tired eyes, ease headaches and migraines, and encourages a calm, restful state.

For a cooling effect, place your eye pillow in the freezer for around 30 minutes. Once chilled, use while lying down to help refresh sore, puffy eyes or provide relief from headaches and migraines.

To enjoy gentle warmth, heat your eye pillow in the microwave for 30–60 seconds. This can be used on areas of the body needing comfort and warmth, such as the neck, shoulders or sinuses. Please take care not to place anything too warm directly over the eyes, unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Storage Tip:

As the eye pillow is filled with natural brown rice, we recommend storing it in an airtight container or sealed bag when not in use - especially in warmer or humid climates - to help keep it fresh and free from pantry pests. For extra peace of mind, it can also be kept in the freezer between uses.
