We’re thrilled to unveil our brand-new candle collection – a luxurious range designed to elevate every space with unforgettable fragrance. Each candle is hand-poured into a beautiful ceramic jar with matching lid, making it as elegant to display as it is indulgent to burn. Using our signature blend of Australian olive oil, pure soy wax, and nourishing coconut oil, these candles are crafted with care for a rich scent throw and a long-lasting, even burn. Subtle variations in each piece reflect its hand-crafted nature, adding to its charm and uniqueness.

The collection includes six distinctive fragrances, each created to evoke a mood, memory, or moment:

·         White Jasmine & Cedarwood – A soft blend of jasmine petals and warm cedarwood with earthy spices and soft musk.

·         Waterlily & Pink Grapefruit – Bright and uplifting, sparkling citrus zest balanced by the sweet delicacy of waterlily.

·         Olive Leaf & Thyme – Calming smoky greens and fresh herbal thyme with grounding, spicy undertones.

·         Bamboo & Desert Fig – Crisp bamboo layered with luscious fig, creating a serene, subtly sweet atmosphere.

·         Banksia & Cassia Bark – Rich cassia spice and warm banksia wood, evoking the essence of the Australian bush.

OLIEVE AND OLIE

Olieve & Olie began in 2000, as a small 15 acre property on the banks of the Gunbower Creek, 50km west of Echuca. The owners, Andy & Jude Steele, who originally had farmland on King Island, planted 2000 olive trees. The climate and soil of the property was the perfect condition for growing olives. The trees flourished and the olives were abundant and of superior quality. Shortly after their first harvest, Jude began making her first batch of olive oil soap, and hasn't looked back. In 2010, Andy & Jude sold their grove and moved to the Mornington Peninsula but they still sourced their olive oil from their old grove, maintaining the connection and quality of all their products.

ARTSIST LIZZIE ALSOP

Artist Lizzie Alsop is a Mornington Peninsula artist and friend of the Olieve & Olie team, so this is local collaboration.  Alsop loves to paint and has been a creative soul for her entire life. The creativity was always bubbling to the surface so after a move to the coast over ten years ago, she started practicing as a visual artist. She gains so much happiness from her artwork and loves the idea of creating something that wasn’t there before. She hopes that she can translate that feeling through her art. Her inspiration comes from her beautiful coastal surrounds on the Mornington Peninsula and the environment that surrounds her.
